It's a Boy!! - {Tucson Maternity Photographer}

This momma is one of my sweetest friends! I photographed her belly when she was pregnant with her first son and now their little family is expecting baby boy #2! I am so happy for them - boys are the best (yes - I am probably biased!). This is a little peek into their session - we were so lucky that the sun broke through the monsoon rain clouds for a little while.

This beautiful family of four is expecting a baby girl in the coming weeks! I had a great time with them - they were so fun and easy going. I think this little girl is going to be absolutely doted upon with such loving parents and two big brothers! I cannot wait to meet her!

This beautiful momma-to-be received her maternity session from her sister! What a great gift! I love it when people give photo session to others...it is such a wonderful, thoughtful and useful gift. :o) This momma-to-be admitted that she wasn't into being in front of the camera...but we had such a great time together and got some really beautiful pictures of her. Braving the Elements! - {Tucson Maternity Photographer, Tucson Photography}

We braved the elements and nature with this maternity session...it super cold, the wind was blowing at 25mph, a large family of little bunnies came to watch us and a lone coyote also made an appearance! You would never guess this momma-to-be had goosebumps and was totally windblown - she looks beautiful in these photos.

Despite the wild weather, we had a great time. Their excitement and love for their coming baby was totally apparent through their entire session. I am so excited to meet their baby girl in a couple of months!

This lovely couple is due to have their first baby in just a couple of weeks! They are having a baby girl and I have a feeling she is going to be as fabulous as her momma. I had sooo much with this photo shoot - these are just a few of my absolute favorite shots! :o)

This lovely couple is expecting their 2nd little girl in just a few weeks! So we headed out to one of my favorite Tucson parks for momma's belly shoot. I love the gorgeous golden lighting at this park - and feel super fortunate living in the desert. Can't beat this perfect spring weather in February! :o)

This momma-to-be's best friend actually bought her a gift certificate for her maternity session. I absolutely love that! I think photo sessions make a great gift and this lovely couple thought so too. :o)

Despite the drop in temperature and a chilly breeze, we had a fun time wandering the grounds together and taking some super cute photos of this couple and belly. Baby is due in just a few weeks, so it isn't too much longer until they can meet their baby girl!

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely out-of-town couple while they were visiting family in Tucson for the holidays. With our gorgeous weather and scenery, I don't blame them for deciding to have their photos done here. :o) Here are a few cute ones from their session...congrats again!

Faves of 2011 {Tucson Family Photographer, Tucson Newborn Photographer}

2011 has been an amazing year (full of plenty of ups and downs) and I cannot believe it has come to an end! I have had the privilege of photographing many of Tucson's cutest kiddos and gorgeous families, and truly feel honored that they chose me to do so. It was fun to look back at all my sessions this past year as I tried to pick out some of my favorite shots...

I absolutely love love love photographing bellies - whether it's photographing those growing bellies in the amazing AZ outdoors or in the comfort of the momma-to-be's home.

Talk about baby fever. There is nothing more amazing that photographing a brand new baby, and after each newborn session I did this year, I went home thinking how lovely it would be to have baby #3.



Having two little ones myself, I love being able to capture these cute faces. They certainly don't stay young long, do they? This little girl here is super special to me...I've photographed her at 10 days, 7 months and 1 year. I am excited to watch her grow!




I absolutely love that I can call some of my clients, friends. Meeting these wonderful people like these families here, are the best part of my job!



One of the major highlights of 2011 for me was photographing a wedding with my very best friend. We need to do that more often!


And of course, I can't forget my own family! :o)

Gorgeous Momma-to-Be - {Tucson Maternity Photographer}

I love that we included something personal and cultural in this momma-to-be's belly photos. This kimono is very special to her and I love how gorgeous both she and her belly look in it!
